The Visionary Behind the Brand
As President of Brady CFO, Mason leads a team of Fractional CFOs to support values-oriented CEOs and owners in America’s backbone businesses.
Raised in an agricultural and food industry environment with a family of farmers, Mason has a hands-on upbringing in farming and warehouse work. He holds a top-tier European MBA, graduating in the top 20% of his class, along with several certifications in accounting management, financial modeling, and strategy.
Professionally, Mason has served as CFO & Head of Supply Chain for an Organic Food Company, managing financial operations across farming, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and logistics to ensure efficient product movement to client fulfillment centers. To date, Mason has personally served 10+ clients in a fractional capacity, supporting companies with annual revenues ranging from $2 to $100 million.
Beyond that, Mason is deeply committed to professional excellence and community service. He actively participates in various associations such as XPX, ACG, and AM&AA and is a member of the faith-based executive group Convene.
Under his leadership, Brady CFO donates 10% of its revenue to support churches and charities and invests in pro bono work for nonprofit organizations.

Layton
Layton is a graduate of Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business, where he majored in Accounting and minored in Finance. With a strong background in agriculture and construction, he is passionate about construction and the trades, cattle production, agriculture development, and real estate.
He has held various roles in tax and industry, including positions at Grant Thornton LLP, E.M. Tharp, Inc., and Pro Citrus Network, Inc. Currently, Layton serves as Controller/VP of Operations & Finance at Webb & Son Construction and as a CFO Advisor at Brady CFO.

Josefina
Josefina Aguirre, also known as Josie, focuses on building meaningful connections, earning trust, and delivering value to clients. With over a decade of leadership experience in operations, she has developed expertise in optimizing workflows, strategic planning, and project management—always with a people-first approach.
Beyond her professional role, Josie is deeply committed to serving her community. She mentors foster youth, leads faith-based initiatives, and actively volunteers to support those in need. She is also passionate about establishing a foster care ministry that provides aged-out youth with stability, purpose, and a sense of belonging, integrating her love for animals through a farm animal rescue and sanctuary.
Outside of work and community involvement, Josie enjoys spending time outdoors, off-roading, and staying active through volleyball, golf, and pickleball. She brings the same dedication and enthusiasm to every aspect of her life, always striving to make a lasting impact.

Gary L. Johnson
Gary has 35+ years of proven experience in progressive Financial leadership roles as a CFO, VP of Finance, Division Controller at both Fortune 500 publicly traded companies and mid-size closely held organizations. He has experience in a working in variety of industries including Manufacturing, Telecom, Construction, Recruiting and Payroll, and Real Estate Development.
During his career, Gary has organized and led multiple efforts in Mergers and Acquisitions (pro-forma creation and investor relations), Treasury, Real Estate Development, Construction Finance and Project Accounting, Balance Sheet Turnarounds, Manufacturing Leadership/Controllership, Tax, and IT Strategy implementations. He has always been focused on profit enhancement, efficiency, and cost reduction saving the companies he has worked for significant dollars.
He is a CPA in Wisconsin since 1992 and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh and BS from the University of Illinois. He currently resides in Simpsonville, South Carolina and has been married for 35+ years and has 4 adult children and one grandchild.
